Φορητό Όργανο Δινορρευμάτων-Υπερήχων OmniScan

Rugged, Portable, and Battery-Operated

The OmniScan™ is built to work in the harshest field conditions. Its solid polycarbonate-based casing and rubber bumpers make it a splashproof instrument that can withstand drops, shocks, and hits, as well as water jet cleaning.

The OmniScan is so compact and lightweight (only 4.6 kg) that it can be carried easily and handled anywhere inside or outside. With its two Li-ion batteries, The OmniScan will run for over 6 hours in the most demanding configuration.

Data Storage and Imaging

The Omniscan is based on Microsoft® Windows® CE .NET OS and offers the standard ports (USB, RS-232, alarms, SVGA out, and Ethernet™). It offers internal data storage capability and extended storage via a CF (CompactFlash™) card slot or USB device.

Modular Platform

The instrument is a modular platform which supports various technologies such as the ultrasound, the ultrasound phased array, the eddy current and the eddy current array, in order to cover most of the test applications required in various business sectors. The OmniScan allows you to switch test modules on the spot, without the use of any particular tools. Changing test modules is a cinch: the platform detects the new module and the technology supported so the configuration and test environment are set automatically.

User Interface

The highly legible 8.4-inch real-time display (60 Hz A-scan refresh rate) with a resolution of 800x600 allows you to clearly see defects and details under any light conditions.

Function keys and a scroll knob make it easy to browse through and select functions. A mouse and a keyboard can also be plugged in for users looking for a more PC-like interface.

Probes, scanners and other accessories

The OmniScan offers the connectivity, data storage and imaging to satisfy the most demanding requests in order to achieve the highest testing performances in NDT.

The OmniScan features an ethernet port (LAN) to contact other work stations, USB ports to connect other peripherals such as a keyboard, a mouse, a printer or to facilitate data storage to any PC external storage device.

The OmniScan also supports probes and manual scanners to have a complete test solution as well as video and voice recording capabilities to generate complete reports based on your test sessions.
